This small urban garden has two sections: the public section in front and the private section in back. The public section has created community: this time of year, when there’s lots of color, neighbors stop to chat and admire the show. The back feels quite different. Upon first entering the back, people use words like “sanctuary” and “haven.” They’re surprised such a strong presence can be created in such a small space. Come see for yourself.
